Enterprise Child Development Center is located in the West End of Huntington.  We serve children from infants (at 6 weeks) to the start of Kindergarten.  We are open from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Enterprise is going green
We have partnered with Planet Green in a fundraising effort to collect empty cartridges and used cell phones. It’s a great way to raise money while helping our environment too!

*Family Conferences allow teachers a formal opportunity to share assessment results with families of the children we serve.  We strongly encourage all families to meet with your child’s teacher to discuss his/her progress.

All teachers have a minimum of ACDS or AA.  All assistants we hire enroll in ACDS  (Apprenticeship for Child Development Specialist).

Typical Daily Schedule

 Opening – 8:30 a.m.            Table activities, Literacy activities, Health check, Skill building activities, Socialization 

 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.                   Breakfast

 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.                 Center time, Outdoor play

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.                 Clean-up for lunch

Clean-up, Dental hygiene, Stories, Music, Games, Preparation for nap

12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.                   Nap time; (for those who no longer nap, quiet

Schedule is flexible to meet children’s needs.
Each classroom has a schedule posted.
Diaper changing record is at the diaper changing table.
Infants are checked hourly.
