What are the Reimbursement Rates?  How are they Determined?

Determining Rates

River Valley Child Development Services is responsible for determining which day care homes are eligible for tier I or tier II rates.  These rates were established by USDA and are determined by location, elementary school, census data or family income that is at or below 185% of federal income poverty guidelines.

How much reimbursement will I receive?

Child Day Care may claim up to 2 meals and a snack or two snacks and a meal per child per day as many as 7 days a week for a limit of 6 children per meal.
