Enterprise Child Development Center was opened in 1997 as a collaborative project with the City of Huntington. The center’s name comes from its location in the Enterprise Development Zone of the city. Enterprise has the capacity for 72 children and is nationally accredited by the National Association for Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The center is licensed by the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources and is designated as an Eco-Healthy Child Care Center by the Oregon Environmental Council. All meals meet or exceed nutritional guidelines by Child and Adult Care Food Program. Security cameras are available in all classrooms and on the playground to help maintain a safe environment for the children.
